Years later, after gaining possession of the Pegasus Cloth, a mythical armor protected by said constellation, he returns to Japan and meets up with Saori Kido. Kido is the granddaughter of the late Mitsumasa Kido, the man that sent Seiya to Greece, separating him from his sister Seika. The Galaxian Wars is a tournament organized by the Kido Fundation, in which the Bronze Saints, all of them orphans like Seiya that were sent to different parts of the world to train and earn their cloths, must fight each other, the prize being the Sagittarius Gold Cloth.
Seiya agrees to participate just to be able to find his sister. However, the tournament is interrupted and the Sagittarius. Trivia As a general rule, the Armor design is meant to reflect the Saint's position in the Saints' hierarchy.
Saint Seiya Order To Watch

Bronze Armors are scanty, Silver Armors (with the exception of Eagle and Ophiucus) cover more of their wearer's body, Gold Armors leave very few body parts unprotected. In the manga, every time the Bronze Cloths are revived with blood, their design evolve to a more elaborate one, covering more and more of the Bronze Saint's body. However, the anime Bronze Armors of the Sanctuary Arc were so elaborate they were more akin to Silver Armors. As the TV show endorsed the manga's second Bronze Cloths (3rd for Shiryu and Seiya) design, the anime viewers found their favorite characters wearing scantier armors after the Battle of the Sanctuary.
